SmartPower and the Solarize Allegheny Campaign

SmartPower is a non-profit marketing firm dedicated to helping Americans make clean energy choices. Through our on-the-ground, community-based campaigns, we connect residents and businesses with qualified, pre-screened contractors in order to make the process of adopting energywise behaviors simple and straightforward.

SmartPower manages the Solarize Allegheny campaign - an effort funded by the Heinz Endowments - with a goal of doubling the number of solar installations in Allegheny County. Community leaders apply to participate in the campaign for 16-weeks of intense outreach and communications to their residents and businesses.
